くるみん認定&えるぼし認定について

At UPBEAT International School, we have formulated the following action plans with the aim of obtaining certification for both Kurumin and Eruboshi from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

◆ What is Kurumin Certification?

The Kurumin certification is awarded by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to companies that actively support child-rearing and achieve their established goals, recognizing them as “Childcare Support Companies.”

◆ Outline of the Action Plan (Starting from August 1st, 2025)

 

  • Goal 1: Improve childcare leave uptake
     Male staff: 30% or more / Female staff: 75% or more

  • Goal 2: Reduce overtime work
     Limit the monthly average of overtime and holiday work among full-time staff aged 25–39 to under 45 hours

  • Goal 3: Increase the rate of annual paid leave usage

We aim to achieve these three goals by July 31st, 2027.

◆ What is Eruboshi Certification?

The Eruboshi certification is awarded by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to companies that actively promote women’s participation and advancement in the workplace and achieve their established goals, recognizing them as “Companies Promoting Women’s Empowerment.”

◆ Outline of the Action Plan (Starting from September 1st, 2025)

  • Goal: Achieve the following levels of childcare leave uptake and average duration
     Female staff: 75% or more, at least 6 months
     Male staff: 30% or more, at least 28 days

We aim to achieve this goal by August 31st, 2027.
